David Farias Live in Concert – Friday, Oct. 9, 2026
October 9 @ 7:00 pm – 11:30 pm
David Farias is live in concert Friday, October 9, 2026.
If you grew up on South Texas dance halls, you already know that name. David Farias is a Grammy-winning Tejano and conjunto accordionist and vocalist — a Farias family musician who started as a child prodigy, spent decades as a front man in La Tropa F, and later won a Grammy with Los Texmaniacs for Borders y Bailes. His solo work, including the Freddie Records album El Maestro De La Acordeón, keeps that classic button-accordion fire front and center.
This is the sound RGV dance floors were built for: polkas, rancheras, cumbias, and conjunto standards delivered with the same high energy fans still talk about from his festival and club dates. Expect the hits that keep circulating on Tejano playlists — songs like “Yo Sé Que Tú,” “Oye Chula,” and “Por Una Cantina” — plus the live accordion work that earned him the “maestro” tag.
