Bo Garza & JB Flores Wreckless Heart Live – Friday, Oct. 30, 2026
October 30 @ 7:00 pm – 11:30 pm
Friday before Halloween. Two country acts. Twenty-five dollars.
Bo Garza and JB Flores & Wreckless Heart Band take Mustang Lounge Bar on Friday, October 30, 2026 — a South Texas country night built for people who still want the songs sung like they were written.
Bo Garza started on the Valley circuit in 1980 — Junction Band at the Kings X in McAllen, then The South Texas Wailers, who won the Dodge Wrangler Country Showdown at Billy Bob’s in Fort Worth. He opened for Merle Haggard, George Jones, and George Strait at the Villarreal Convention Center. He cut “Que Chula Vieja” and “Truck Driving Man,” then took “Precious Heart” and “The Show Must Go On” to Nashville. Lubbock is home now. When he comes back to the RGV, it is with a guitar, a cowboy hat, and a set list that still gets requests for “I’m Home” and “Let the Red Wine Flow.”
JB Flores & Wreckless Heart is the Valley’s classic-country answer. Strait. Whitley. Cash. “Folsom Prison Blues.” “Fast as You.” The kind of live country that does not need a lighting cue to feel like a honky-tonk. They are already booked as special guests on the La Mafia night at Mustang Yard a week later. This Friday they get their own half of the bill.
That is the night: a veteran who came up in McAllen and a Valley band that plays the catalog like it still matters. Boots. Two sets. $25.
Do not wait until Thursday and hope there is a table.
